About the talk
Exaggerated Federalism? Why we designed 3 different solutions to the same problem.
Over the past 2 years, Angie has been involved in the information architecture of the websites of three major cantons in the North West of Switzerland. The structure of each website reflects certain requirements and restrictions. But why three solutions for the three cantons? Why not use the same concept for all of them? After all, the user needs from a canton can’t be that different? And why not simply use the eCH standard for all of them?
In this talk, Angie will go into more detail about the reasons for the different solutions, compare them and give you some behind the scenes of the design decisions.
